1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, booking, or using the notary and related services provided by JK Young Notary, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Scope
JK Young Notary, LLC offers general notary public services, mobile notary services, and apostille support. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or representation under any circumstance.
3. Client Responsibilities
You must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification at the time of notarization.
You must ensure all documents are complete and ready for notarization before the appointment.
You must be of sound mind and not under duress during the notarization process.
If witnesses are required, it is your responsibility to provide them unless otherwise agreed.
4. Payment & Fees
Fees for notarial acts are in accordance with Illinois law and may include travel or convenience charges for mobile services.
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
Accepted forms of payment may include cash, card, Zelle, or other approved electronic methods.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee or be non-refundable.
We reserve the right to refuse service and issue refunds at our discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
JK Young Notary, LLC is not liable for:
The legal sufficiency or content of any document presented for notarization.
Any damages, claims, or losses resulting from client misuse of notarized documents.
Issues arising from delayed, incomplete, or rejected apostille processing by government agencies.
7. Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Any personal or document-related information shared with JK Young Notary, LLC is kept confidential and only used for the purpose of providing notary services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate court of Cook County, Illinois.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services following any such changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
